How did you decide a Frenchie was right for you?

We met a Friend's Frenchie about 6 years ago. I was immediately in love. I couldn't get a pup at that time, so I researched the breed and breeders for about 2 years. When I saw Elena's dogs I knew I wanted one. I still had to wait for about a year before I could get Stu.

I had a friend with a frenchie, and we used to walk in the hills with out dogs. I fell in love with him. I have always loved bulldogs my entire life. I had known Yana from Lionheart for years when I had a bull terrier, and she offered me Bunnie, and I could not refuse. I cannot imagine my life without a frenchie. Jamie

Yana has some nice dogs. How do you know her?

Yana used to breed bull terriers, and I knew her from the bull terrier list when I had a bull terrier many years ago. That was how I met her.

I never wanted a Frenchie.... I wanted a big dog - a Rhodesian Ridgeback or a Boxer. Then I met our breeder through a friend who was getting a puppy from him - I was immediately in love with 6 week old Rufus and we decided that we could not live without him! :) It was sooooo hard to wait until he was ready to go home with us!!! I nver regretted that decision a single second and now all I want is Frenchies!!! :) Love that they have that big dog personality in a smaller package.

I fell in love with the breed while watching a dog show about 7 years ago. I had to wait until I could talk my husband into getting one for me. Well, Lenny is now 3-1/2 years old. He really hooked our whole family on the breed. Lenny came home with us when he was 10 weeks old. A month later Sweetie join our family. So, we had 2 Frenchie that were a month apart in age!! It was so much fun. We waited a little over a year and then added Babettabug to our Frenchie family. Then 17 months after Babettabug came home with us, we added little Ramon (the baby-now 8 months old.) I will always have at least one Frenchie!!

A brindle female was Splash Pei first love on his first outing in Jan 1999; we thought not much about it till really on a trip to visit with mini donks and she had a just gotten a black/white Frenchie female (now spayed). Passed on the mini donk, but the Frenchie influence stuck from last year.
