Yes, they are all ok. Had to spend some time in the basement. It was a crazy storm.

I am glad you are OK. I am scared when we have to go to my down. I think the boogy dog lives there.

I'm responding a little late about this, but we had to scramble to the basement as well. I live in Aurora and I was told that we got hit with a piece of some kind of micro tornado that touched down briefly somewhere close by us. My subdivision had many homes without siding, what ever it was destroyed peoples wooden fences, ripped trees out of the ground and snaped them in half. Our power went out instantly and we didn't have power for 3 days. We were very scared...However, Remy slept through the whole basement wait and Sophie complained about being on the cold cement floor! True frenchie behavior.

Amazing you would have so much damage and power out just 1 town over. There were some downed trees in our neighborhood, but that is it. My mom was in town from CA and it was an experience for her. Come to think of it, she was here last year for the tornado in St Charles!

Gary has never gone into our basement. He stands at the top of the stairs and barks. I had to carry him down. I think we have a ghost!
